Commissioned by @swedeninuae, this cultural initiative highlights the important role of Emirati fathers and aims to spark conversations about how active male caregiving supports women’s career growth and promotes gender equality in the UAE.
The exhibition opening at the Sweden Pavilion featured distinguished guests including H.E. Liselott Andersson, Swedish Ambassador to the UAE, and H.E. Mona Ghanem Al Marri, a leading government media official in the United Arab Emirates.
Alanood Mubarak’s powerful visual storytelling captures emotional moments between Emirati fathers and their children, positioning her as one of the most promising voices among female photographers in the UAE. Her work not only celebrates modern fatherhood but also contributes to the dialogue on family dynamics and equality in Emirati society.
