Expo 2020 Dubai hosted a photo exhibition. The goal of this allocation is to promote gender equality and inspire fathers to spend more time with their children, as well as to raise awareness of the importance of gender equality in parenthood in creating a more equal society. Alanood Mubarak, our Emirati photographer, was inspired by photographer Johan Bävman to capture photos of Emirati Dads interacting with their children on a daily basis.
The Photography Exhibition "Conceptos Paralelos" Draws Parallels Between the UAE and Spain. The exhibition Conceptos Paralelos, or Parallel Concepts, is a cultural initiative promoted by the Spanish Embassy in the United Arab Emirates. It aims to bring the Spanish and Arab communities together, as well as everyone else. They make us consider how much we resemble one another. And the overall goal is to invite people to share our values vision and find a way to get closer rather than simply living parallel lives. Alanood Mubarak, our Emirati photographer, captured photos that represented 12 Emirati values.

Alanood Ghazi Mubarak (Dubai — Founder / Creative Director) is an Emirati self-taught photographer whose work recently featured on App Store and in the 2018 Shot on iPhone campaign, is passionate about exploring her home country of the UAE. Her photographs are mostly of landscapes that alternates from striking mountains ranges to seemingly endless desert. She also enjoys documenting cultural events and taking portraits of people. Her notable achievements: Parallel concepts project for the embassy of Spain in the UAE, campaigns for noon eCommerce, timberland and workshops for Apple, iStyle, Emirates Youth Academy and Qasr Al Hosn.
When she is not chasing sunrises and sunsets, she can be found working for her tech startup "Codevelop Technology" with a mission of harnessing technology and design for a fairer world for people of determination. To support this vision, she is currently a MSc student at UCL in department of computer science disability, design and innovation. Her background in technology has also led her to participate in the first national Artificial Intelligence Program which is a partnership between the UAE artificial intelligence Ministry and the University of Oxford.
Peter Jay (Abu Dhabi — Director of Photography) with an overall experience of 11 years in UAE who enjoys exploring and adventure photography. His specialities are landscape, portraits and aerial photography as he is a certified commercial drone operator. When he is not flying his drone, Peter can be found editing videos and working closely with well known brands such as Etihad Airways, Apple, DJI, Sony, Palazzo Versace, Fujifilm, Timberland, Emaar, Huawei, Roads and transport authority, Sharjah tourism, Dubai tourism, Abu Dhabi tourism, Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi and Ministry of presidential affairs .Peter started his career as an event videographer and photographer and he took parts in international projects in countries like Hungary, Brazil, Italy, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Azerbaijan, Sri Lanka and Japan.Peter took part of the first aerial photography in the region (Above exhibition) and participated in a panel discussion about drone safety regulation with General Civil Aviation Authority. In addition to that he hosted a video production workshop sponsored by Sony.Peter is experienced with advanced post-production tools such as Final Cut, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro 2020 and Lightroom.
